I was furloughed for 13 weeks last year and my amazing colleagues Melanie and Alison took over the care of my funeral arrangements, on top of their own arrangements. Being a control freak and fiercely protective of the family's and deceased I care for, I knew without any doubt that they would do an amazing job.
They didn't ask for any remuneration or complain about their work load, they just got one with things.
